St. Peter's Church at Old Goa

The Church of St. Peter is  very having been built in 16th century at Old Goa in Goa state, India. The church has an antique appearance and is small in size. In one of its altars one can see an image of St. Peter, the Prince of the Apostles, to whom it is dedicated. In the background of the main altar there is an old wooden frame encrusted with thin marine shells.

Old Goa or Velha (which means old in Portuguese) Goa is a historical city situated in North Goa district.
