St. John's Church and Convent, Goa
The church of St. John of God in the state of Goa, India is a popular devotional center which the travellers usually opt for during their church tours.
Featured in this video are the convent and church of St. John which has got an interesting history. Built in AD 1685, this cathedral was a tribute to Our Lady of Good Success.
In course of time the church lost its significance and in 1834 the nuns of St Monica took charge of the church. They used the church complex as a residence thus making it a convent.
