Maruthi Temple, Goa

Situated on the top of Altinho hillock overlooking the Fontainhas district in Panaji, the capital of Goa, India, is the famous Maruthi Temple. This temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman, the monkey god.

The Phoenix spring situated near the Maruthi temple is the major attraction here. This spring has three tanks where water is collected from the mountain prior to its accumulation in a reservoir.
