Mangrove Vegetation in Mandovi River, Panaji
The Mandovi River considered as the backbone of the State of Goa, India originates from Bhimgad in the Sahyadri range of mountains in Karnataka.
The Mandovi River, which flows for nearly 77 kms has the largest drainage basin in Goa. Featured in this video is the mangrove clumps bordering the Mandovi River.
Since there is no similar verdant mangrove vegetation in Goa, the foliage in Mandovi is significant.
