Mandovi Bridge in Goa

Panaji, the capital of Goa state, India is a busy city connected by parallel bridges. The Mandovi Bridge also known as Panjim Bridge built across Mandovi River joins the Betim village to Panjim city.

Earlier the people of Goa had to travel to Panjim by taking the ferry that shuttles between Panjim’s old steamer jetty and the Betim settlement. But after the bridge was built, it became useful for them to travel to Panaji without any delay.
