Inside Humayun's Tomb
Featured here is the interior of Humayun's tomb located in Nizamuddin East, Delhi. The building, constructed with red sandstone contains the main tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun. It is the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent.
The tomb was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993. It also houses the graves of his wife, Hamida Begum, and also Dara Shikoh, son of the later Emperor Shah Jahan, as well as numerous other subsequent Mughals.
