This video is on Kalanidhi Narayanan performing various emotions and expressions of a Khandita Nayika in classical dances of India. Khandita Nayika means a heroine, enraged by her lover due to betrayal. Kalanidhi Narayanan is a renowned classical dancer and also a guru. She is also considered an authority on the abhinaya (acting) aspect in Bharatanatyam. Saranya, a disciple of Kalanidhi, is assisting her.
