St. Paul’s Church, Diu
The St. Paul’s church, a 400-year-old cathedral in Diu, which is an island and a part of Daman and Diu, one of the union territories in India is dedicated to ‘Our Lady of Immaculate Conception.’
Founded in CE 1600 by the Jesuits as a seminary, it was later rebuilt in CE 1807. The St Paul’s church is considered as the only church in operation in Diu till date. This cathedral has a close resemblance to the Bom Jesus Basilica in Goa.
