Atop Diu Fort

Diu Fort built in 1535 during Portuguese reign is an eminent structure located on the island of Diu, which is a part of Daman and Diu, a Union Territory of India. Skirted by the sea on three sides, this fort commands an enchanting view of the surroundings. The St. Tiago, an old chapel is also located inside the fort. Canons and howitzers of different sizes and shapes positioned on top are the major attractions of this fort.
