Kolhapuri footwear from Maharashtra

Kolhapur, a town in Maharashtra, is synonymous with two things- textiles and the attractive leather footwear, locally known as chappals. This footwear, though made in simple style, is finished perfectly and is famous all over the world. Soft and durable, they come in a large variety of colours and designs.
