Phir Subah Hogi - 1958

Directed by Ramesh Saigal, Phir Subah Hogi is a 1958 Bollywood drama film starring Raj Kapoor and Mala Sinha in lead roles. The film was actually an adaptation of Fyodor Dostoevsky's immortal novel, Crime and Punishment.

Songs in this film were super hits and credit goes to music director Khayyam. Lyrics were penned by Sahir Ludhianvi. The song chino arab humara satirically portrays the pathetic condition of the destitute in this country.
