Palki - 1967

Palki released in the year 1967 tells the tale of a young poet who is forced to leave his village to one of the biggest metropolis in India – Bombay. This romantic family drama was directed by Mahesh Kaul and S.U. Sunny. The film stars Rajendra Kumar and Waheeda Rehman in lead roles. Pratima Devi, Johnny Walker and Rehman did supporting roles.

The film was not a commercial success but etched a niche in the audiences mind with brilliant direction and excellent music composed by Naushad.
