Mere Mehboob - 1963

The 1963 blockbuster film, Mere Mehboob is one of the most romantic films of Hindi cinema with excellent music by Naushad. A Muslim social drama set in Lucknow, the film stars Rajendra Kumar, Sadhana, Ashok Kumar, Nimmi, Pran and Johnny Walker. Directed by Harnam Singh Rawail, the film is well known for the song "Mere Mehboob Tujhe Mere," which has shots from Aligarh Muslim University.
