Khamoshi-1969

Waheeda Rehman’s one of the excellent movies, Khamoshi released in 1969 deals with a bold plot and courageous climax. Directed by Asit Sen, the film is based on Bengali writer, Ashutosh Mukherjee’s short story named 'Nurse Mitra'. The film also stars Rajesh Khanna in lead role.

Remembered for its pleasing music by Hemant Kumar, some of the popular songs written by Gulzar for Khamoshi are “Humne dekhee hai un aankhon ki mehekti khushboo” and “Woh Shaam Kuch ajeeb thi”. Other noted factor of the film is the innovative cinematography by Kamal Bose.
