Jab Jab Phool Khile - 1965
A beautiful drama set against the fascinating background of Kahmir, the 1965 Hindi film Jab Jab Phool Khile tells the tale of a poor boatman played by Shashi Kapoor who falls in love with a rich tourist (Nanda). Directed by Suraj Prakash the film explored the charismatic splendor of this paradise on earth.
The film was a success at the box office and was also a musical hit. The music department was handled by the popular duo Kalyanji Anandji who were assisted by Laxmikant Pyarelal. Anand Bakshi penned the lyrics for the evergreen songs of this film like "Na Na Karte Pyar Tumhin Se," and "Pardesiyon Se Na Ankhiyan Milana".
