Gunga Jumna - 1961

Produced by popular actor Dilip Kumar and directed by Nitin Bose, Gunga Jumna or Ganga Jamuna or Ganga Jamna, is a 1961 dacoit drama Bollywood film. Starring Dilip Kumar and Vyjayanthimala in lead roles, the film has ensemble cast with Nasir Khan, Azra, Leela Chitnis, Kanhaiyalal, Anwar Hussain, Nasir Hussain and Helen.

Made in Technicolor, the film is noted for its use of Bhojpuri dialect and its rustic setting. The film which tells the story of two brothers Gunga and Jumna was one of the biggest hits of that time. Music was composed by Noushad.
