Guddi -1971

Jaya Bhaduri’s career making film, Guddi released in 1971 was directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee and written by Gulzar. The film tells the story of an innocent school girl, who is in between adolescence and adulthood and is obsessed with film stars, particularly Dharmendra.

Vasant Desai’s music compositions in Guddi like “Hum ko man ki shakti dena” and “Bole re papihara” was much appreciated. Guddi was singer Vani Jairam’s debut film.
