C.I.D - 1956

The 1956 film C.I.D., produced by Guru Dutt was the debut film of Waheeda Rehman in Bollywood. It is said that Guru Dutt spotted her in a Telugu movie and decided to cast her in Pyaasa. But before that he wanted to test her potentials by giving her a supporting role in C.I.D.

The film was directed by Raj Khosla and stars Dev Anand, Shakila, Johnny Walker and K. N. Singh. O. P. Nayyar composed the fascinating soundtrack of this film. The song “Yeh dil he mushkil” became an evergreen hit.
