Bawre Nain -1950

Another classic from Kider Sharma, Bawre Nain, narrates a simple love story that opens in the background of a village. The film is noted for the stunning performance from Geeta Bali and Raj Kapoor.

The cinematography of the film, handled by Machve Dada, Laxman Kapur, and T. N. Shah, is also exemplary. Music, composed by Roshan is so appealing that almost all the songs from the film became hits. Playback singer Raj Kumari’s best hit “sun bairi balam” is also from this film.
