Venu Vana, Rajgir, Bihar
This video features Venu Vana or the forest of Bamboos in Rajgir, Bihar state in India. It is a royal park gifted to Gautama Buddha in order to make it easier for his devotees to visit him. It was one of Buddha’s favourite places of meditation.
This is a serene spot and there is a small pond inside where you find cool water. It was a suitable place for the practice of meditation. There is a lush green garden with beautiful roses all around.
Lots of tourists often visit this place to enjoy the beauty of this place. You will also find deers which are kept inside the place. Tourists feed the fishes which are found in large numbers in the pond in the garden. You get to see a stupa here built by Ajathasatru to enshrine the relics of Buddha.
