Sher Shah Suri Tomb in Sasaram, Bihar
Sher Shah Suri Tomb in Sasaram district of Bihar, India, is an impressive structure which stands in the middle of an artificial lake. Sher Shah Suri was an emperor who ruled Delhi for around 5 years.
The building has a very large octagonal chamber surrounded by a wide lobby on all the four sides. It is one of the two majestic Muslim monuments and the 46m high dome has a 22m span which is 4m wider than the dome of the Taj Mahal.
