Mucalinda Sarovar, Bodh Gaya, Bihar
This video shows the Mucalinda Sarovar, a lake situated to the south of the Mahabodhi temple in Bodh Gaya, Bihar state in India. It is believed that Buddha, after attaining enlightenment came to this lake for meditation.
During the meditation heavy rain and storm occurred and at that time the snake king of the lake protected Buddha from the disaster without affecting his meditation.
Tourists visiting the Mahabodhi temple also visit this lake and feed fishes which are seen in plenty. This is a beautiful place with a lush green garden around with small meditation huts.
