Tomb of Makhdum Shah Daulat, Patna
Located at Maner near Patna, the capital city of Bihar state of India, the tomb of Makhdum Shah Daulat evokes the memory of a great Indian Sufi saint Hazrat Makhdoom Yahiya Maneri. Makhdum Shah Daulat was a disciple of Hazrat Makhdoom Yahiya Maneri, and the tomb to commemorate the former was constructed here in the AD 1616.
Considered to be the finest Mughal monument in the state of Bihar, the Makhdum Shah Tomb is a mausoleum popularly known as Chhoti (Small) Dargah. Ibrahim Khan Kankar, Governor of Bihar, constructed this tomb. Ibrahim Khan was also buried near this tomb.
