Kumhrar in Patna, Bihar

Featured in this video is Kumhrar or Kumrahar, the remains of Pataliputra, an ancient city in Bihar state of India. Located near Patna, this is a place of historical relevance.

During archaeological excavations, the remains of Mauryan period (322-185 BCE) have been discovered in Kumhrar. This site has been excavated many times and has revealed the remains of Pataliputra, including many artifacts of the ancient times.

Today this is a favourite site of archaeologists, which is well maintained and visitors can see the excavated sites.
