Khuda Bakhsh Oriental Library
Khuda Bakhsh Oriental Library, located on the banks of River Ganges at Patna, is a unique library with a rare collection of 21,000 Oriental Manuscripts. Founded in 1891 by Maulvi Khuda Bakhsh Khan is presently run by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
Among the rare collections are the Islamic books, Tazkira (biography, the manuscripts including palm-leaf collections in Urdu, Persian and Arabic languages carry the arts of Iranian, Mughal, Central Asian, Kashmiri and Rajasthani schools.
