Japanese Temple, Bodhgaya, Bihar
The Japanese Temple or Indosan Nipponji temple is a popular tourist attraction in Bodhgaya, Bihar, India. The video shows this temple which was constructed in 1973 and was inaugurated by V.V. Giri, the then president of India.
It is a very big temple and was built in the pattern of ancient wooden temples in Japan. The interior of the temple houses various paintings on the important events in the life of Buddha.
There is a beautiful statue of Buddha inside this temple. Also there is a peace bell just outside the temple. The temple is involved with the education of poor kids learning in the school which is situated very near this devotional center.
