Face care using turmeric and valerian

The State of Kerala in India offers a number of traditional Ayurvedic, natural and herbal remedies for face care. Featured in this video is a face care method from Kerala, also popular in other parts of India.

The key ingredients for this facial pack are turmeric, tree turmeric, liquorice, Indian valerian and red sandalwood.

Make a paste using all the ingredients in equal measures. Add milk instead of water for making this paste. The paste thus obtained is applied over the face and neck. When it becomes dry, it is removed by using a clean cloth.
