Scientific name : Ocimum Sanctum
Sanskrit name : Krishna tulasi
English name  : Holy basil / Sacred basil

Leaves of holy basil ground with onion adding honey is a healer to many allergies. Drugs prepared with holy basil are excellent in the treatment of asthma and bronchitis.

Applying oil prepared with karpoora tulasi (camphor basil), Mugal cheriyan (Emilia sonchi folia) and mukkutti (Biophytum sensitivum) on the head before bath give relief to migraine.
