In this Padma shri Kalamandalam Krishnan Nair acts as Sundara Brahmanan (handsome Brahmin) and Vellinezhi Haridasan as Rugmini. 

Padma shri Kalamandalam Krishnan Nair was one of the most famous Kathakali artistes of any time and unquestionably the greatest in the history of the four-century-old classical dance-drama, Kathakali, in India.
