Hussain Sagar Lake in Hyderabad
Hussain Sagar, a lake built on the tributary of the River Musi by Hazrat Hussain Shah Wali in 16th century. Commonly known as Tank Bund, Hussain Sagar Lake is considered to be one of the largest man made lakes. In the middle of the lake one can find the huge monolith statue of Gautam Buddha, the exponent of Buddhism which is a centre of attraction here.
The unique feature of Hussain Sagar Lake is that it connects the twin cites of Hyderabad and Secunderabad in Andhra Pradesh state, India.
