Ancient Temple inside Gandikota Fort
Gandikota, a small village in YSR Kadapa district (formerly Kadapa district) of Andhra Pradesh state, India is known for its fort ‘Gandikota Fort’ situated on the banks of Pennar River. The fort obtained its name after Gandi, a deep valley or gorge between the Erramalai ranges of hills. Featured in this video is an ancient shrine inside the Gandikota fort.
The temple is supposed to have been built during the 15th century and it exhibits intrinsic and marvellous architectural styles of that period.
