A Dal or Pulses Mill at Amaravathi
Dal is widely used in Indian cuisine and the dishes prepared using dal’s are very delicious. Featuring in this is a dal or pulses mill in Amaravathi in the State of Andhra Pradesh, India. Dal is highly a good source of proteins for a balanced diet containing little or no meat.
Using modern machines, the pulse is separated from its husk and this process is known as hulling. The separated pulses are then collected and transported to the nearby granaries.
