Chowmahalla Palace in Hyderabad
Chowmahalla Palace, once the seat of Asaf Jahi dynasty was erected around 200 years ago and was the official residence of the Nizams of Hyderabad, in the State of Andhra Pradesh, India. Almost all the ceremonial functions of the Nizams were held at this palace.
A renowned structure known for its unique architecture and style, Chowmahalla Palace has two courtyards — the southern and northern courtyards. Currently, the palace, which once sprawled over 45 acres, has been reduced to 14 acres.
