Travel to Viper Island

Viper Island, a serene and fascinating tourist spot is located near Port Blair in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, which is a Union Territory of India. Once the site of a jail, Viper Island obtained its name after the wreck of a British ship named ‘Viper’ in the 19^th century. The ruins of the old jail are seen on this island.

The island was once the settlement area of freedom fighters of India during their time of imprisonment. Featured in this video is the travel to Viper Island from Port Blair, the capital of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
