Sea Plane Service, Andaman and Nicobar Islands
If you are bored of enjoying the scenic beauty of Andamans from ferryboats, then you can opt for a sea plane ride. India's first commercial operation of Sea Planes was started on 23 January 2011in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
The sea plane will fly between Port Blair and Havelock Island along with other major destinations in the isle. The seaplane, Cessna Caravan 208 A, is fitted with modern navigation features and has a total seating capacity of ten in which eight for passengers. Even though the sea plane facility has been launched for tourists, local people can also enjoy the flight.
