Saddle Peak in North Andaman Island
Located on the North Andaman Island, the Saddle Peak is the highest point of the archipelago in the Gulf of Bengal. It is about 732 meters high and is surrounded by the Saddle Peak National Park. The national park covers an area of 33 square miles and includes animals like Andaman wild pig, water monitor and the imperial pigeon. The peak can be seen from anywhere in Digilpur. Tourists often opt for a trekking trail through the evergreen rain forest of Saddle Peak.
