Cellular Jail Museum, Port Blair
Featured in this video is the museum within the Cellular Jail in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, presently a revered shrine dedicated to great Indian freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the Independence of India.
The jail also known by the name Kala Pani literally meaning black water (the sea) is situated at Aberdeen near Port Blair, the capital of Andaman Islands. The Cellular Jail meant to imprison the freedom fighters of India was built in 14 years beginning in 1886 by the British rulers.
